Biochar is currently widely used as the adsorbent for phosphorus (P) removal from wastewater. Cheap and green modified materials efficient preparation methods are key to obtain economical engineering biochar. Conventional salt solution chemical impregnation common preparing engineered However, this method not environmentally friendly or cheap due price of solutions solvent treatment process impregnation. In article, Ca-laden biochar was prepared using peanut shells carbon base discarded eggshells calcium source.
